I Will Follow You

Reflect on a responsive reading about the heroes of the faith.

(Leader read the bold and have the group read the regular print)

Lord, we want to be more like the heroes of the Bible. We want to love You, respond to You and follow You wherever You may lead.

We want to follow You.

Just like Abraham, who walked by faith,

We want to follow You.

Just like Joseph, though betrayed,

We want to follow You.

Just like Moses, who was often afraid,

We want to follow You.

Just like David, who was so human,

We want to follow You.

Just like Esther, for such a time as this,

We want to follow You.

Just like Peter, a forgiven friend,

We want to follow You.

Just like John, a thundering power,

We want to follow You.

Just like Paul, a redeemed sinner.

Just like the heroes of old we want to follow You. Wherever You will go we follow with our whole hearts.

AMEN
