Announcing God's Kingdom

A creative look at four Bible verses proclaiming the Kingdom

Purpose: To help us see the importance and value of Jesus' kingdom.

Supplies needed: Poster board, old magazines, scissors, glue, and markers for three or four subgroups.

Activity: Divide the group into three or four smaller groups and provide them with a poster board, old magazines, scissors, glue, and markers. Give each group one of the following verses: Matthew 4:17; Luke 4:43; John 3:3; Acts 1:3.

Ask each group to create a poster proclaiming the value of Jesus' kingdom using the verse they are assigned. When finished, ask each group to share and explain their poster.
