One day God is sitting around visiting with the angels and He begins to speak highly of you. In a proud, fatherly way, what would He say that would show He was pleased with you?

This is a great ice breaker for discussion of one's self-worth. It encourages deep self-reflection.

This is a wonderful way for positive affirmation. The icebreaker is even better when you are affirmed with others and get the additional affirmation feedback from your brothers and sisters in Christ. You realize there may be more to you than you initially realized.
