An Invitation Of Praise

Praise God with a responsive reading.

Small group leader: You may use this several different ways. Pass out a copy to every person in your group and have each person read a line until the reading is complete. Or, highlight different parts for five various readers and allow them to lead in an act of worship by reading it out loud for the group.

An Invitation of Praise

This invitation is open to all. Come taste and see that the LORD is good. O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven and who has made all of creation? With your right hand and a gracious heart you rule over all the kingdoms of this world. Power and might are in your hands, and no one can stand against You.

You are the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for You? I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

I will worship the LORD at all times; the love I have for Him will always be on my lips. My soul will boast about the LORD's goodness and love; let those who are brokenhearted and weary, hear and rejoice.

This invitation is for you. Come taste and see that the LORD is good.

Over and over I have sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Those who look to him have found joy and their faces are never again covered with shame. I was once the broken and lost. Through bitter tears I called on Him. The LORD heard me; he saved me out from all my troubles.

I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who honor him, and he delivers them. Blessed is the man who runs to God and takes refuge in him.

Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together.

Praise His name, sing joyfully for His redeeming love.

Worship the creator of the universe, and the Lover of your soul.

The invitation is open to all, come taste and see that the LORD is good.
