Take a small box (a shoe box would work) and put it out in the middle of your small group circle. Give everyone a small piece of paper and instruct them to write, "God can..." and have them complete that sentence. Take a few minutes and have each person read what they wrote. After they read their sentence, put the piece of paper in the box.
Continue sharing by asking your group, "How in the past have you put God in a box?" Or, "How do you limit what God can do or will do?" Remember, you always model the type and length of response you desire and then go around the circle so that everyone can respond.
