Rolls of toilet paper, two carrots, and six pieces of "coal" (can use black plastic disks, large buttons, etc.)
Activity:Split your group into two teams, and have them identify one person on the team to be the snowman. Then give each team several rolls of toilet paper, a carrot, and three pieces of "coal." Each team has 10 minutes to make their snowman volunteer look like a snowman with their materials. The goal is to work as a team to cover the snowman with toilet paper and have the nose (carrot) and the buttons (coal) stay put in the appropriate places when the timer goes off.
Set a timer for 10 minutes, and have the teams begin. At the end of the 10 minutes, determine which team has done a better job and name the winners.
Leader note: One idea to encourage vulnerability and approachability is to have the leader and apprentice serve as the snowmen.
