Maybe I'm naive, but I'm doing all I can to get some of our church's elders (by age, not position) involved in our small group ministry. Here are a few of the things I've done to that end.
- Preached on Sunday nights (highly attended by the grayer set) on the values of community
- Included a well-respected older couple on our small group planning team
